Gibson Chimney Restoration (Masonry Restoration)
The scope of this project was to provide our client with emergency repairs in order to avoid further deterioration of the Gibson Smokestack while a plan was being put in place to save the well-known landmark.
These emergency repairs included setting a scaffold system the entire height of the smokestack, removing 30ft of the smokestack, sorting tile for saving and disposal, disposing of unusable tile, providing a temporary mortar cap, and leaving scaffold in place until further decisions were made.
